Being Single Is Not A Prison Sentence

Updated: Oct 26, 2023

Being single is often viewed as a negative thing in our society. We are constantly bombarded with images of happy couples and told that being in a relationship is the key to happiness. However, being single is not a prison sentence, and it should be used as a time to truly reflect on who you are and what you want in life.

When you are single, you have the freedom to create your own Frankenstein (that would be YOU) and be the person you want to be. You don't have to worry about compromising your dreams or desires for someone else's. You can focus on your personal growth and become the best version of yourself without the distractions of a romantic relationship. When we take the time to enjoy ourselves while we are single, we develop a sense of self-worth and confidence that makes it easier to attract the right person into our lives. So, when the time does come for love, you won't settle for anything less than what you deserve.

Of course, we all want love. But it's important to have standards when choosing a mate. We need to make sure that we are with someone who shares our core values and beliefs, someone whom we can grow with and who will support us on our journey, and vice versa. When we settle for less, we end up repeating the cycle of growing apart or finding out that we don't even know our mate. How many times have you said, "I Love You" and 6 months later, you couldn't even remember their name? Stop freaking settling and take the time to know you better, so that you can do better when choosing your mate.

Love is not hard. It's simply two people operating on the same vibe and agreeing to commit to working towards their relationship daily.

So, take the time to enjoy yourself while you are single. Explore your interests, travel, learn a new skill, or just spend time with friends and family. "What do you bring to the table" won't even need to be asked, because it will be obvious based on the way you carry yourself and the confidence you exude.

Love will come when the time is right, and it will be worth the wait.

Until Next Time!!!

Peace, Love & Kisses,
