Weekly date night is a must. Even if it's just us lying in the house watching wrestling. Lol. We dedicate one night a week to just us. Plus, vacations in the mix help.
Tell us, what's the secret ingredient in your recipe for success that keeps your family dynamic thriving amidst the madness of footballs flying and boxing gloves swinging?
Communication and quality time. Even when it hurts or when it's ugly. we talk. We're both pretty stubborn but we have one goal and it's to give our kids a healthy and happy 2 parent household. We have solo date nights and family date nights. The oldest (Logan) prefers Taco Tuesday EVERY WEEK and the youngest (Lennox) prefers family game night.

We try to do our best to keep up with family traditions and make sure we give them quality time. We spend time all together or sometimes we'll have separate dates with the kids. Making sure they feel heard, valued, and loved is so important.
Date nights are crucial for keeping the romance alive! How do you prioritize intimate time together amidst the whirlwind of work, sports practices, and school events?
Wednesday! Well, sometimes on Thursdays. Staycations are a favorite thing when it's football season.

It's getting a little harder the older they get but I'm not missing a plane ride. We're trying to instill experiences over materials to them, so they love to travel.

This may be a little surprising but our boys. Lennox loves praying and will tell us in a heartbeat that "Jesus doesn't like that." They're both lover children and make sure hugs and kisses are given often. Without God, this marriage thing would be harder than it is.
How do y’all handle disagreements and conflicts that arise in your busy household? What strategies do you use to navigate through rough patches and emerge stronger as a couple?
Showers. He prefers sitting in the bathroom with shower water running until he's calm. I just go sit in the shower and turn on my eucalyptus diffuser. Then we talked. Or someone cracks jokes that lead to talking.

Our kids are lovable. They love to be loved and they love giving love. Even with being so tough and tough, they will fall asleep together every night.
Maintaining individual identities within a marriage is essential. How do you support each other's personal growth and passions while also nurturing your relationship as a team?
We have similar passions. As an entrepreneur, I try to motivate his newfound love for entrepreneurship as well. He in return supports and encourages me to start new businesses. Making money together is one of our love languages.

Date. Communicate. Be selfish. Loving yourself and putting yourself first gives you the ability and confidence to love and pour into anyone else. You HAVE to date and make time for each other. And communication is truly key. You cannot navigate through any relationship without proper communication AND understanding.
